Start with the billing unit
A fee is easier to understand when the unit is clear. Live Quran Academy’s standard plans are charged in USD per student per calendar month. Each scheduled day includes one private 30-minute session. The monthly calendar can contain different numbers of the selected weekdays, so the plan should not be described as a fixed number of four-week lessons.
When comparing another offer, check whether it uses a calendar month, a four-week block, a package of sessions, or an hourly rate. Those are different arrangements. A headline price is not a fair comparison until the duration, frequency, and billing period are understood.
Separate regular and weekend choices
A regular two-day plan is $16.99 per student per month, while the one-day weekend plan is $9.99. The promotional statement about two classes a week should therefore identify that schedule rather than claim $16.99 is the lowest fee across the entire academy.
Regular plans offer selected days subject to availability, and the seven-day option includes every day. Weekend options specify Saturday or Sunday for one day, or both for two days. Choose the pattern that matches the learner’s routine and confirm the available teacher and time.
Calculate household savings student by student
For two eligible family members, the initial discount is 5% on each eligible plan. For three or more, it is 10%. Each discounted student fee is rounded to two decimal places before the rounded amounts are added. This avoids a different result from applying a percentage only to the combined total.
For example, two learners on $16.99 each pay an estimated $16.14 each, giving $32.28 per month. Three on that plan pay an estimated $15.29 each, totalling $45.87. Mixed plans can qualify too: $16.99 and $36.99 become $16.14 and $35.14 at the two-member tier.
Understand who counts towards a family estimate
Eligible members are siblings, parents, and children from the same household with active paid enrolments linked to the same family billing group. Trial-only learners do not count. Regular and weekend plans qualify; custom and separately quoted Hifz plans require explicit eligibility configuration.
Only one family tier applies. Sibling and family savings are not separate discounts to stack, and promotional discounts do not combine by default. If membership changes, the revised eligibility is applied from the next billing cycle rather than changing previous bills retroactively.
Treat a custom or Hifz request as an unpriced item
Hifz uses 45-minute sessions and needs a separate quote until its prices are configured. A custom duration or unconfigured arrangement should not inherit a standard 30-minute price automatically. It is more accurate to show a quote requirement than a misleadingly complete family total.
In the calculator, an unpriced selection means the full household amount cannot yet be determined. A known subtotal can be informative only if it is labelled clearly and not presented as the total. The final estimate needs the configured price and verified eligibility for every included learner.
Be precise about local currencies
A country page can show an actual configured local billing price alongside USD. An approximate conversion is different: it is an informational estimate and should be labelled with that limitation. Without a configured local price or reliable conversion, displaying USD alone is clearer than inventing an exchange rate.
Family discounts apply to the configured base price in the selected billing currency. Do not calculate a USD discount and silently treat the result as a local-currency bill. Ask the academy which currency will be charged before relying on the final amount.
Use the calculator as an enquiry tool, not a confirmed invoice
Choose a plan for each student and review the individual estimates, saving, and total. Confirm whether the intended learners meet household and paid-enrolment requirements. The result is an estimate until eligibility and the lesson arrangement are verified.
The trial enquiry should retain the selected plans, course, currency, student count, and discount estimate. Server-side calculations should use the configured prices rather than amounts supplied by the browser. This keeps the conversation tied to the real plan settings even if a page has been left open while prices change.
